The club takes the safety and welfare of all its cyclists very seriously. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children to experience the fun, challenge and sense of achievement that are inherent to cycling.
We are committed to implementing policies and procedures to ensure all those involved comply with the Cycling Ireland code of good practice. We abide by the Cycling Ireland’s policies on safeguarding and protecting children. These can be found here.
All coaches have the relevant Access NI checks and In addition we have a Safeguarding Officer whose role is to maintain Cycling Ireland’s high standards in relation to children participating in cycling; allowing peace of mind for participants, their families and cycling clubs by ensuring that those working with young people are suitable to do so.
If you have any concerns at all about any aspect of any activity or individual at the club please contact our Safeguarding Officer, Stephen McNally via the link at the bottom of the page.
